Land Acknowledgment

I acknowledge with respect that I live and work on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of the Néhiyawak (Cree), Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Nakoda (Stoney), Dene, Anishinaabe (Ojibway/Saulteaux), Métis, and Inuit peoples. This area is also part of the Métis Nation homeland.

I recognize the ongoing impacts of colonization, systemic racism, and harm experienced by First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples within healthcare systems. I am committed to anti-colonial practice, cultural humility, and continual learning.

I am deeply grateful to Indigenous communities and knowledge keepers who share their experiences, sustain traditional healing practices, and continue to lead the way toward sovereignty and self-determination.
